Sample Analysis

Overview

This data set describes a sample analysis of the Swirl Zebrafish data set. The data files were retrieved from a web page that lists example data sets for limmaGUI and were modified to include the gene name from the GAL file rather than just an index name for each spot.

The data set consists of four files, each containing foreground and background intensities from two channels: one from a wild-type fish and one from a swirl mutant. In files 1 and 3 the wild-type has been labelled with Cy5 and the mutant with Cy3. In files 2 and 4 the labelling has been reversed. The aim of this analysis is to find out which genes are differentially expressed when comparing wild-type to swirl mutant.
